      Key Trends in Digital Marketing for 2015

      Welcome to 2015! We anxiously awaited all of 2015’s digital marketing predictions in Q4 a couple months ago and now we’re in full swing. The marketplace is certainly changing as our world becomes encompassed by the Internet of Things. Who received a Smart Watch over the holidays? Are you tracking your email, steps walked, heart rate, sleep patters, calendar appointments, and phone calls all in that one device? Maybe you received the new iPhone 6+. Have you ditched your laptop in the evenings to log into your social media accounts on your mobile or tablet? As the way we, as consumers or business professionals, search and digest information changes, marketing is racing to keep pace.

      The last few years have been all about responsive design. If you aren’t quite there yet, now is the time. Responsive design pushed aside, there’s even talk of mobile only website design.       Season of Giving Back to the Community

      ‘Tis the season to end the year on a high note! It is easy to get caught up in the busyness of time and put marketing on hold until the new year. At ICE, we encourage all our clients to give marketing a final push and closeout the year positioned to enter January with a running start.

      For our clients, we are finishing the final pieces for the 2014 editorial calendar, generating the last few campaign leads, engaging prospects with actionable tweets, interacting with new 2015 opportunities via LinkedIn, and making plans to kickoff new campaigns in the first days of the new year. We also take this time to reflect on what worked and didn’t during the last twelve months. There is nothing like a few months of real data to help hone initiatives. 

      With all that focused business activity, we also stop to think about the people in our community who aren’t as fortunate. The holidays can be difficult for a variety of reasons. For those with families struggling to make ends meet it can be stressful and isolating.

      11th Annual Stevie Awards

      November is a month to be extra thankful. Today, November 14th, marks the 11th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business and ICE Worldwide could not be more thankful to have our founder and managing partner, Jocelyn Philbrook, named a finalist again this year. Last year, Jocelyn was honored to take home a bronze Stevie Award, which was a remarkable way to end a great year.
